Curves has established an enviable reputation for supporting charities. During the past 2 years, the club and all its members have worked tirelessly for charities, locally and nationally, raising phenomenal amounts of cash.


Our Donations Timeline


October 2008
 - Breast Cancer Awareness month during which time we raised £1,001.56 for Breast Cancer Care.  For every new member that signed up during October we donated 50% of their service fee to the charity.  We also held raffles, created memory walls for our families and friends and also started a book sale.

 March 2009 - On Red Nose Day we encouraged ladies to dress up in red for the day and we managed to raise £450 for Comic Relief!

March 2009 - Also during March we took part in the Annual Curves Food Drive and we successfully managed to donate over 1,464lbs worth of food to the Winchester Churches Nightshelter! http://www.wcns.org.uk/

April 2009 - £100 was donated to the XLP Research Trust with money raised from our second-hand book sales.  http://www.xlpresearchtrust.org/

October 2009 - £742.05 was donated to Breast Cancer Care during Breast Cancer Awareness month.

November 2009 - £275.55 was donated to Children in Need.
